PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATORS
Paul N. Mawa,
is a lawyer admitted to practice in Papua New Guinea.
He was a Executive Director
of the Constitutional Review Commission, a committee
struck by the National Government of Papua New Guinea
and has been a law lecturer at the University of Papua
New Guinea. Mawa holds a bachelor of laws with honours
from the University of Papua New Guinea and master of
laws from Harvard University in USA with a Masters
Degree in Law.
Mawa has extensive experience in the practice of law
and has taken a range of advisory roles in government
administration. Mawa’s
diverse legal, administrative and managerial
experience enables him quickly to perceive the
client’s administrative, political or commercial
objectives.
Shiraz A.
Karmally,
has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University
of Karachi, Pakistan, is a
Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
Pakistan, Associate Fellow of The Papua New Guinea Institute of Management Incorporated, Associated Member of Institute of Internal Auditors PNG Chapter and Registered Tax Agent. Karmally did his article
with A. F Ferguson and Company Chartered Accountants,
Karachi during 1974 – 1978. Has over 25 years of
practical industrial experience in accounting,
auditing, tax and investigation. His experience in PNG
includes having been Financial Controller of Remington
Limited and L & A Construction. Karmally also has
professional experience in Pakistan, Bahrain, United
Arab Emirates, Togo, Thailand and Hong Kong.
